About National Play Day
Sorry, but this event has been and gone!
Playday is the annual celebration of a child's right to play. It helps raise the importance of play and the need to make our communities both safe and child-friendly.
No need to book, just come along and join in the fun and games. There will be lots to do and see, such as mobile playgrounds, giant bubble making, giant games, arts and crafts, and much, much more. Everyone is welcome but children under 8 years should be accompanied by a parent/carer at all times. Please note this is an outdoor event and will go ahead regardless of weather.
Parking at Playday will be limited and visitors should consider alternative car parks in the vacinity of Heritage Way when planning their journey.
While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for National Play Day are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
