Kilsyth’s Christmas Lights Switch On

About Kilsyth’s Christmas Lights Switch On

It’s official, Christmas is on the way! We're hosting family, fun events to switch on the festive lights in seven town centres.

Santa Claus will make a special guest appearance at each of the free events, along with a live entertainment stage and music hosted by Heart Radio, a funfair ride, dance schools and choirs singing Christmas carols.

Provost Jean Jones and Depute Provost Tom Castles will officially switch on the festive lights, marking the start of the festive season across North Lanarkshire.

Kilsyth’s Christmas Lights Switch On features music from Aimee Bryceland. An organ, organised by Paterson and Hughes Funeral Directors, will play carols during the day with a charity collection for Strathcarron Hospice.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Kilsyth’s Christmas Lights Switch On are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
