About Santa’s Reindeer Parade & Grotto
Sleigh bells ring, are you listening? Well, hundreds of youngsters will definitely be keeping their ears open so they don’t miss Santa’s arrival at EK, East Kilbride on Saturday, November 18th.
Accompanied by his helpful elves, Father Christmas will swoosh into the centre on his sleigh at 11 a.m. and be guided through Centre West by his trusty reindeer before joining the children to walk to his sparkling grotto.
Prancer, Dancer, Comet and Vixen will then hot trot it back to their pen situated outside the main entrance at Centre West for a well-deserved rest where shoppers will be able to meet them until 1 p.m.
After unloading his toys, Santa will get comfy in his toy shop inspired grotto where he’ll meet EK’s good boys and girls from 11.30 a.m. until 5 p.m. on the 18th and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, November 19th.
He’ll then take the first batch of requests back to the North Pole so the elves can begin making the toys, before heading back to the centre on November, Saturday 25th and 26th from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on both days.
And because he loves visiting EK, East Kilbride, Santa will then take up residence in the centre every day from December 2nd right up until Christmas Eve!
Santa’s grotto will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, and from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays.
The grotto will be open from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on December 24th, giving Father Christmas enough time to take last minute requests back to the workshop.
To pre-book a visit to meet Santa visit EKlife.co.uk. Please note, pre-bookings are not available for November 18th or December 24th. Prices start from £4.50 per child.
