Dipper Watch

About Dipper Watch

Have you seen the bird in the photo? It's called a dipper and hunts for insects under the water!

Come down to the Falls of Clyde every Saturday and Sunday afternoon from now until Sunday 20th August for your chance to see these amazing little birds. The Rangers will be there with their scope and binoculars so you can get incredibly close views of dippers and other river wildlife!

The Rangers will also have river bird spotter sheets to give away for children and adults alike. Drop by anytime, everyone can have a look for dippers on this FREE event.

Our dipper watch point is situated between the entrance to the wildlife reserve and the boardwalk, only a 5 minute walk from New Lanark.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Dipper Watch are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
