The Festive Taste of Lanark returns for 2019 as part of Lanark Winterfest with lots going on in the town centre throughout the day!

About Festive Taste of Lanark

The 'Festive Taste in Lanark' is an annual festive day not to be missed, with something for all ages to enjoy! Visit local eateries around the town centre to enjoy samples and tasty bites along the way! Locations taking part in 2019's event so far are:

• Jappacakes
• Clarks the Bakers
• Candy Cave Lanark
• Ebi's Lanark
• Poundland
• Allan Elliot Butchers
• The Duke's Deli Hampers
• The Hidden Courtyard
• Le Petit Café

There will also be a taste sensation upstairs in The Tolbooth with a range of stalls selling food, drink and produce from in and around Lanark. So far, the stalls taking part upstairs are:

• Bake 'N' Butty (pies & cakes)
• The Wee Farm Distillery (Climpy) Gin Flight
• Clyde Cider
• Border Biscuits
• Cones & Candies, Biggar (chocolates)
• Errington Cheese
• Memory Lane, Christ Church (tablet, dumpling, tea loaves etc)
• Clydesdale Community Initiatives - CCI Lanark (Jams & Chutneys)

Downstairs in The Tolbooth there will also be:

• Fundraising games and activities for local charities - organised by the Royal Burgh of Lanark Community Council - RBLCC
• Lanark Amateur Musical Society Christmas Post (35p per card delivered to Lanark addresses)

Outside in the Tolbooth Piazza see the Leadhills Silver Pipe Band (12-2pm) and kids' merry-go-round. At 2pm, the annual 'Santa Dash' Horse Parade by the Scottish Equi Centre will proceed down the High Street – a sight not to be missed!
