About An Evening with Duncan and Johnny Cameron

Duncan and Johnny Cameron are well known in the Scottish music scene.

On Saturday 10th Feb the brothers take the stage in their hometown at East Kilbride Arts Centre to celebrate their long performing and recording career which started when they made their first record at the ages of 10 and 7 years old.

That was the beginning of a musical journey which took them on a touring path through as many different countries as musical genres and record deals, before finally signing to US giants Atlantic Records in the mid 80’s and setting up and continuing to run Riverside Studios in nearby Busby, working with a host of artist including Travis, Del Amitri, Teenage Fanclub, Big Country, The Trashcan Sinatras, Jerry Lee Lewis, Alex Chilton, Ian Brown, Shane Magowan, Kate Rusby, Emily Smith and Session A9.

Tonight they would like you to join them for a musical mystery tour through the rich tapestry of their lives in song. Everything from Sneeky Pete in the 70’s to The Force in the 80’s and latterly The Cameron Brothers. They will be joined by some friends to perform a set of their favourite songs, old and new, from their extensive repertoire of originals and covers.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for An Evening with Duncan and Johnny Cameron are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
