Restorative Yoga is deeply healing, nourishing and relaxing practice that gives our bodies the opportunity to replenish & restore and our minds to declutter and find space allowing us us to rebalance our bodies and find perspective within our minds. It works deep into our parasympathetic nervous system , calming and inducing a state of deep relaxation while gently stretching the body whilst using props to support and Comfort the body.
After a hectic festive period and a loooooong January we can be left feeling, exhausted, burnt out and rundown, allow yourself the opportunity to recharge and destress by joining me for one or both Candlelit evenings to relax, restore, replenish and fill your cup back up.
We will start with pranayama breathing to settle your energy, calm the mind and come into the present moment before gently warming the body with a slow grounding flow. We will then work through a series of Restorative yoga poses using bolsters and various props designed to gently Stretch, induce Relaxation and release tension. We will then finish on an extended relaxation & savasana/ meditation leaving you feeling refreshed, rejuvenated ready to take on the weekend. The perfect way to finish the week and start the weekend.
We will finish This blissful evening by offering herbal tea and a sweet but healthy treat.
