Kilsyth Civic Week

Kilsyth Civic Week is an eight day sporting and cultural event, beginning with a parade and crowing of the Queen on June 8th and finishing off with a concert at Burngreen Bandstand!

Saturday 8th June
Opening Parade, Assemblage at Kilsyth Academy - 12.30pm
Start of Procession - 1.00pm
Route: Kilsyth Academy onto Corrie Road, Balmalloch Road, Glasgow Road, Parkfoot, Kingston Road, Station Road into the Burngreen
Arrival at Burngreen
Presentation by Chamberlain - Crowing of Queen Sophie
Presentation of Prizes, Entertainment by Various and judging of decorated bikes
Artists - side shows, stalls

Sunday 9th June
Under 12’s Football at St Patrick’s Sportsfield - 1.00pm
Also fun 4’s football

Monday 10th June
Zumba at the Bandstand, Burngreen Kilsyth - 6.30pm

Croy Silver Band Concert, Bandstand, Burngreen - 7.30pm

Tuesday 11th June
Talent Show - 7.00pm
Kilsyth Academy Adults £2.00, children £1.00
CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT
This is the final night and judging will take place for Under 12 and 12 and over category. Tickets will be on sale in advance watch local press for details. Tickets will be sold to adults only.

Children’s Trivia Quiz, St Patrick’s PS - 7.30pm
Open to teams of four 12 and under. Teams can just turn up on the night

Young Persons Concert, Bandstand Burngreen - 6.00pm-8.00pm

Swimming Gala, Kilsyth Swimming Pool - 7.00pm
Entry by ticket only

Friday 14th June
Finals of the Bowling Tournament, Kilsyth Bowling Club - 7.00pm `
Saturday 15th June
Inter School Bowling Tournament, Banton Bowling Club - 10am
Primary6/7 Bowling Tournament the six schools in the district have been invited to take part in an interschool tournament to be played at Banton and Kelvinhead Bowling Club. Come along a support your school there will be a cafe etc available

Civic Week Golf Medal - all day

Music at the Bandstand - from 2.00pm
