** Summer Community Gardening Day at Castlebank Park **

Green your fingers, clear your head & enjoy the fresh air - volunteer with us for a day of garden tidying & outdoor work to get the gardens looking their best.

Help us get the Castlebank Park gardens ready for summer and enjoy the many physical and mental health benefits of gardening at our June weekend 'Summer Volunteering Day' where we'll be tidying/gardening. All welcome, no experience required! Our volunteers have been working for years to restore the beautiful gardens of Castlebank Park to their former glory for the local community to enjoy.

Date: Saturday 15th June 2019
Meeting point: Castlebank Horticultural Centre
Time: 10.30am - est 2.00pm (with lunch break) (drop-in available - no requirement to stay for the full duration)
Families welcome! Please ensure under 16s are accompanied by an adult at all times.
Other information: Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and outdoor shoes. Gloves and tools will be provided. Please bring a packed lunch. Tea & Coffee will be provided.

Our volunteers also meet regularly on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Castlebank Horticultural Centre - new volunteers are always welcome to join in!
