Guided Cycle Ride from Coatbridge to Hillend Loch and Back

About Guided Cycle Ride from Coatbridge to Hillend Loch and Back

The ride is mostly on traffic free paths but there is one section on road and hilly in some sections.

This ride is part of North Lanarkshire Walking and Cycling Festival.

Due to length of cycle and road sections this ride is not suitable for children

Our cycle rides are led by trained Sustrans volunteers and ride at an easy pace to suit the group. There will be a leader at the front and another member of ride staff at the back to ensure that no one will be left behind.

We will stop at Hillend Loch for refreshments and to observe some wildlife.
Toilets at start and at Hillend.

You need a working bike and have a reasonable degree of competence in riding it. Wear casual, comfortable clothes suitable for the weather on the day.

For more information and to book either phone Greenspace Development on 01236 632838, contact the North Lanarkshire Walking & Cycling Festival Facebook page, or email cameron.reid@sustrans.org.uk.
