About Creating Safe Spaces - BME Women’s Event

Creating Safe Spaces - an event for Black and Minority Ethnic women organised by Humjolie and Amina Muslim Women’s Resource Centre in partnership with North Lanarkshire Council and Lanarkshire Rape Crisis Centre.

The event aims to bring women together to discuss and share their experiences of employment, access to services and community safety with a view to making recommendations for action where needed.

There will also be:
• Information stalls from services and voluntary organisations with the chance to chat to the stall providers
• An art exhibition from Amina called 'A Knot a Day' which is launching at the Tramway in Glasgow on 3 September; and
• Free Lunch and refreshments
