Travelling Through History and Nature - Lamington

About Travelling Through History and Nature - Lamington

During this walk we will explore local historical and natural interests, focusing specifically on travel and movement. How have people historically travelled from community to community? When did our travel habits change and why, and what’s the impact of this? How do we currently move in and around our communities?

The community walk will also provide an opportunity for icecream architecture to gather feedback on the design of active travel maps and wayfinding. These bespoke maps and signage are being developed in collaboration with communities throughout South Lanarkshire and we want your input into the final design.

Days Activities:

14:00 - 15:00 - Community walk*
15:00 - 16:00 - Map and wayfinding feedback

*The walk will be weather depending. If it is not suitable weather we will have a chat in the church

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Travelling Through History and Nature - Lamington are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
