About Clydesdale Baby Sensory
Baby Sensory is learning and developmental programme designed for babies.
Baby Sensory was set up by Dr Lynn Day who researched that the stimulation of the baby’s brain is crucial to growth and development. At baby sensory classes there is singing, signing, bright colours for them to see, to help to strengthen baby’s eye muscles, different textures for babies to touch and feel, to help with hand to eye co-ordination, puppets, to promote imagination, some baby massage techniques, for relaxation and calming for both mums and babies and different sounds and activities which are exciting, stimulating and great fun.
Every week is different, with a relaxed atmosphere where there are no rules and you can feed, change and soothe your baby at anytime throughout the class.
The class runs for an hour, starts with the same song Say Hello to the Sun, we have a few activities, a rest time, and some more activities and finish with the same goodbye song.
It’s like a gym membership for babies, having lots of fun, stimulation, exercise and meeting loads of new friends.
The classes run on a Thursday morning in Lanark and a Friday morning in Strathaven. New classes are starting in Carluke on a Tuesday morning and Drumchapel on a Wednesday morning.
The class is £7 per week, paid monthly in advance, with a £10 deposit required to secure your place which is refundable when you leave as long as you give 4 weeks notice.
