Holyrood Crescent Pleasure Gardens Holyrood Crescent, Glasgow West End G20 6NQ
Facebook information can be found here
Created in the early 1870's, the garden was originally enclosed by cast iron railings and gates until these were removed, supposedly to help the war effort, during the early 1940's. Since then chestnut palings have contained the garden.
Maintained on an informal, voluntary basis by neighbours, Holyrood Crescent Pleasure Garden is an oasis of greenery and wildlife that we are very lucky to have.
At least once a year, for over 20 years, as part of the West End Festival, we have opened our gates to the public, for our fun and fund raising Garden Fete.
We have even been known to arrange the occasional music concert or theatrical performance purely for the entertainment of those interested in such things.
