The Scarecrow Festival returns for 2023 with three weeks packed full of fun things to do and see all over Bothwell!

By popular demand this much talked-about and eagerly anticipated festival is being repeated this year, from Sunday 27th August to Sunday 17 September 2023 marking our 11th festival, with the surplus funds will once again be donated to local charities and community groups as well as Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity. We very much look forward to seeing you there.

It all begins with Sport Weekend, which includes the Scarecrow Champions League Football Tournament, Cycle Ride, and the 5K & 10K Run Fest.

On Sunday 17th September we have the Grand Scarecrow Parade through the village, followed by an afternoon of fun as the Bothwell Primary School playground comes alive with live entertainment, food & drink, games zone and much more!
