Whitelee Stroller Striders at Calderglen Country Park
Sorry you are too late, this event has been and gone!
Join the Whitelee Countryside Rangers' Stroller Striders on their winter programme of walks at Calderglen Country Park on Tuesdays during January!
About Whitelee Stroller Striders at Calderglen Country Park
The Whitelee Stroller Striders is a regular parent and baby walking group that meets every Tuesday morning.
The group usually meets at Whitelee but during the winter closure of the wind farm’s visitor centre the Strollers will be going on tour to parks in East Renfrewshire and South Lanarkshire.
Walks are usualy about four miles, which takes around 1.5 hours with parents pushing their babies all bundled up in their push chairs/strollers. The walk is free and there is no need to book in advance.
Please ensure you have suitable clothing and footwear and your buggy/stroller can withstand the conditions.
Anyone wishing to join the striders should meet at 11am each Tuesday morning at the following parks:
On 10th and 17th Dec we are at Rouken Glen Park. Meeting at 11am, at the Boating Pond in front of The Boat House Café.
On 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th Jan we are at Calderglen Country Park. Meeting at 11am, in the main car park next to the zoo.
