A Bunch of Amateurs

About A Bunch of Amateurs

This amateur production of “A Bunch of Amateurs” is presented by special arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH LTD.

Fading Hollywood action hero Jefferson Steele arrives in England to play King Lear, only to discover that rather than starring opposite Dame Judi Dench, Jefferson will be sharing the stage with “a bunch of amateurs”. As Jefferson’s monstrous ego and vanity are tested to the limit by the enthusiastic am dram thespians, acting worlds collide and Jefferson discovers some truths about himself.

From the pen of Have I Got News for you star, Ian Hislop and Nick Newman and described by the authors as “a love letter to amateur dramatics”, this show is a must see!
