Are you a complete gardening novice? Come along to a 'Gardening for Beginners' Workshop on Saturday 12th October at Castlebank Horticultural Centre with their friendly Educational Gardner, Stuart!

Gardening for Beginners Workshop

About Gardening for Beginners Workshop

Stuart's presentation will lead you through the basics of gardening, from an introduction to plant types, soil & nutrients, to tips for choosing the best plants suited to your garden and the best places to buy them. There's no such thing as a bad question, Stuart will be happy to answer any gardening Qs! Gain confidence to start your own garden or take on a new project with your family. Participants will also be given a tour of the community growing facilities at Castlebank Horticultural Centre.

Date: Saturday 12th October
Time: 1.30pm - 3pm
Format: Presentation, Q&A session, tour of facilities.
Cost: £5 per person. (£1 off for Friends of Castlebank and regular volunteers)
