The BIG Hymn Sing

About The BIG Hymn Sing

We are raising funds for Project Gambia: People Feeding People.

We invite everyone to come along and be part of this evening of wonderful singing. Hymns include: old favourites - I will sing the wondrous story, O for a thousand tongues, And can it be, Who is on the Lord’s side, Guide me o thou great Jehovah and I to the hills will lift mine eyes; and more contemporary songs – Be still, Sing of the Lord’s goodness, See what a morning, The Lord’s my shepherd I’ll not want and In Christ Alone.

About our Charity - Project Gambia: People Feeding People is a Scottish Charity which functions to support St. John’s School for the Deaf in Serrekunda, in the West African state of The Gambia. They now also support St. Patrick’s Lower Basic School and St. Joseph’s Nursery School in The Gambia. The Gambia is one of Africa’s poorest countries, ranking 173rd out of 188 countries in the U.N. Development Programme’s 2016 Statistics for Human Development.
