We are delighted to welcome back the fantastic Blair Dunlop to 50rpm after his memorable sold out visit in 2020 where he received two standing ovations.
Blair Dunlop, the award-winning British singer, songwriter and guitarist, released two EPs in his teens and became a regular at folk festivals in both Britain and abroad. His debut album ‘Blight & Blossom’ established him as an artist with a promising career ahead and led to him receiving both critical acclaim and the Horizon Award at the 2013 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.
His follow up album, 2014’s ‘House of Jacks’, lived up to that promise and cemented his place as one of Britain’s most exciting talents to come from the folk scene. He has continued to receive acclaim with 2016's 'Gilded' and 2018's 'Notes From An Island', described as "a heartbreak record that explores the parallels between personal solitude and national isolationism."
