Wildlife of the South Calder Guided Walk
Join the Countryside Rangers and discover the beauty of the South Calder Water as it makes its way through the steep sided gorges and forest within Strathclyde Country Park.
About Wildlife of the South Calder Guided Walk
Join us on a guided wildlife walk along the South Calder Walkway, one of Strathclyde Country Parks’ lesser known trails. Take in the Flaura and Fauna of this fantastic walkway which includes woodland rides, wildflower glades and riparian trails along the South Calder.
Most of the walkway is core-path but does have some rough, uneven patches so please come wearing suitable outdoor footwear and dress appropriately for the weather. Bring along a bottle of water and a wee snack for a mid-walk break.
This walk will last roughly between 2-3 hours depending on what we see on the day.
