Tenement Through Time

Tenement Through Time is a new, innovative and interactive exhibition which explores tenement life in New Lanark between 1881-1971!

Tenement Through Time

About Tenement Through Time

The exhibition will highlight the importance of this unique, untouched tenement, known as “Museum Stair”. Museum Stair is the only tenement block in the village remaining with the original interior intact and has been preserved since the last occupant left in 1974.

Experience these well-loved and individual homes, uncovering surprising aspects of life through the families who lived there.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Tenement Through Time are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment. All information (whether in text or photographs) is given in good faith but should not be relied upon as being a statement of representation or fact.
