Following last year’s sell-out performance at the Granary, Glasgow-based four-piece band QUICK are returning to Strathaven — this time taking the stage at the Town Mill Theatre.
The group, who describe their unique style as “newgrass”, have been making waves across the Scottish music scene, with recent appearances at some of the country’s most prestigious venues and festivals including Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall, King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut, BBC’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and the internationally acclaimed Country to Country Festival.
Audiences can look forward to a vibrant and dynamic show, blending traditional roots with modern energy, brought to life by the band’s stellar lineup: Willem McKie (mandolin), Alex Hynes (guitar), Emily Barr (keyboard), and Isla Callister (fiddle).
With a reputation for electrifying live performances, QUICK promise an unforgettable evening of music and atmosphere. Tickets are expected to sell fast.
Their EP release of “Paper Planes & Picture Frames” in September 2022 was met with an excellent reception by Quick fans and the listeners of the BBC Radio Scotland’s The Afternoon Show with Janice Forsyth and Grant Stott.
