Sulidae is a music, spoken word and poetry project by Howwood based songwriter Bobby Motherwell. Bobby was previously the frontman with the band The Undying Embers & Mildred's Dairy and is currently the poet in residence at Lochwinnoch RSPB Nature Reserve.
“Kitchen Sink Dharma is the debut album by Sulidae. Featuring the superlative songs and poetry of Bobby Motherwell.” - Ian Anderson, BBC Radio Scotland
“This album is stunning. Get involved.” - Ross Wilson, Blue Rose Code
“…this is a super album… it just blew me away … a beautiful sparseness… take it from me, it is a fabulous album” - Ronnie McGhie, Pulse 98.4FM
“…a terrific collection of songs.” - Alistair Braidwood, Scots Whay Hae, CamGlen Radio
“… there are two spoken word tracks...like a Ted Hughes poem with a Scottish accent…” - Paul Kerr at Blabber ’n’ Smoke
"It’s an album of compassionate reflections on human relationships and the natural world, sung and spoken with quiet authority. …Creative class from Start to finish.” - Ian Anderson Show, BBC Radio Scotland
“…we’re loving it, …gorgeously toned… a compassionate reflection on loss and renewal… that uses spoken word to great effect.” - Kathleen MacInness, BBC Radio Scotland
