Recognised as Scotland’s premium UB40 tribute band, One In Ten are a dynamic six-piece reggae outfit made up of outstanding musicians from across the central belt of Scotland. Among them is Shotts-born saxophonist Graham Millar, whose roots make this performance especially close to home.
Their name comes from UB40’s iconic track One in Ten — a song born from real lives and real stories. The title refers to the 9.6% unemployment rate in the West Midlands in the summer of 1981, when UB40 released the song, capturing the spirit, struggle and soul that still resonates today.
Formed in 2020, One In Ten quickly made their mark on the live music scene. Voted runners-up in Tribute Band of the Year, they’ve gone from strength to strength, earning a reputation for authentic sound, powerful performances and a real connection with their audiences.
In recent years they’ve played sell-out shows across Scotland, building a loyal and passionate fanbase who return again and again for the feel-good atmosphere and unmistakable UB40 vibe.
With a mission to bring great live music to as many people as possible, One In Ten maintain a packed touring schedule, performing almost every weekend and already booked well into 2026.
This is more than a tribute — it’s a celebration.
Come along, feel the rhythm, and enjoy a night of classic reggae performed with heart, soul and style.
