Located just 40 minutes from Glasgow, Si! Spa at The Gailes Hotel, near Irvine, has gained its reputation as Ayrshire’s award-winning luxury spa and wellness destination, offering a collection of over 50 personalised treatments, day spa packages and overnight spa breaks.

Following an extensive £2 million spa makeover, the new ‘Fall Into Si! Spa’ package at The Gailes Hotel offers couples an overnight coastal retreat to relax in a thermal suite with vitality pool, sauna, and steam room, before taking a dip in the outdoor hydropool or getting cosy by the flickering flames of Si! Spa’s outdoor fire pit. A choice of boutique therapies include back, neck and shoulder massage; luxurious foot treatment; luxurious hand treatment; therapeutic scalp ritual; and a brightening facial.

A new day spa ‘Be Two-gether’ package offers a double treatment room for couples to relax and rejuvenate together this autumn, including thermal suite heat and water experience; couples Rasul experience and a 55-minute treatment; as a well as access to outdoor spa area; spa lounge; champagne & cocktail bar; Si! Spa Afternoon Tea and glass of bubbly.

Si! Spa’s ESPA face and body treatments for men are specifically tailored to mens’ skin type, each one designed specifically to ensure men experience the best physical and therapeutic benefits depending on their needs.

The ESPA Gentleman’s Tonic ritual targets the back, neck, legs and feet. Enjoy a soothing foot soak and scrub, followed by a leg and foot massage. The back is then exfoliated and massaged with hot stones, making it the perfect treatment to restore energy.

The ishga for men marine back therapy combines a heated seaweed clay mask, lemongrass and key essential oils to soften, moisturise and clarify the skin. Muscular aches and pains of the back and backs of the legs will be a distant memory with our deeply relaxing and focused massage.

SimpsInns, which owns and operates a collection of award-winning hotels, restaurants, bars and leisure activities around Ayrshire, is the driving force behind Si! Spa and The Gailes Hotel.

Supporting around 250 local jobs, SimpsInns has invested over £2.5m across its portfolio of venues around the Ayrshire Coast during the Covid-19 pandemic to enhance quality and the overall visitor experience, including The Gailes and Si! Bar:Restaurant, near Irvine, The Waterside Hotel at West Kilbride, as well as Old Loans Inn, near Troon.

Malcolm Simpson, Director of SimpsInns, which includes The Gailes Hotel and Si! Spa, said: “We’re really excited to be launching our new luxury spa packages for men, women and couples this autumn, as well as growing our reputation as Ayrshire’s award-winning spa and wellness destination.

“Since our recent £2 million makeover, we’ve quickly established Si! Spa as the perfect oasis to escape the stresses of everyday life and take back time for yourself to relax, rejuvenate and renew.

“We’re committed to exceeding our guests’ expectations and are regularly investing in our hotel and leisure facilities. We look forward to welcoming overnight guests and day visitors from around Ayrshire, across Scotland and the rest if the UK this autumn and beyond.”

All spa treatments of 55 minutes or longer include complimentary access to a stunning Thermal Suite, new outdoor spa deck and hydro pool.

Renowned skincare products used in Si! Spa treatments include ishga and ESPA. ishga’s range of innovative products are made using the finest hand-picked seaweed from the Scottish Hebrides, while ESPA’s formulations contain unique combinations of plant extracts, marine actives and essential oils to create the most effective, natural products which protect the long-term health and beauty of the skin.

The family-owned The Gailes has 42 luxury bedrooms, Coast Restaurant & Bar, GG’s Coffee Shop & Sports Lounge, 9-hole golf course, Toptracer driving range along with the new Si! Spa.
