Joshua, 9 from Glasgow, entered the DreamToys competition in Smyths on Provan Walk, and collected their toys this week from the store.
Joshua, accompanied by his mother, collected his prizes from Smyths at Glasgow Fort. As a huge LEGO fan, Joshua shared that he is especially excited about the One Piece Pirate Ship, which will join his LEGO display at home once completed.
The competition, which launched following the official unveiling of the DreamToys list 2025, gave children in Scotland and across the UK the chance to win the ultimate Christmas prize – every single toy predicted to top wish lists this season. Those looking to enter simply had to visit a participating store with a parent or guardian, and scan a QR code to complete an online form.
Paul Reader, DreamToys Chairman at the Toy Retailers Association, which is hosting the competition, said: “We’re delighted for Joshua, who has been crowned the DreamToys winner of the Scottish region, and will now enjoy the ultimate Christmas wish list before the big day arrives!
“Joshua’s excitement highlights the magic of the season and shows just how special it can be for families to get out onto the high street, shop local, and discover the joy of exploring a toy store in person – no matter how old you are.
“Hearing about Joshua getting to experience all of this year’s top toys is exactly what DreamToys is all about – happy playing, Joshua!”
