Filmmakers Nicole O’Reilly and River Seager will provide a workshop on queer aesthetics and trans representation in film. This workshop will ask participants to think through visual representations of queer bodies onscreen, discussing examples from mainstream Hollywood cinema to independent queer film.
This will be followed by a screening of Nicole O’Reilly’s film Phreaking Gender (2023), which explores DIY-HRT regimens in Glasgow, and a Q&A with the director.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
