About Lanarkshire Cecilian Orchestra
If you play an instrument or played in the past and want to get back into it, why not join the Lanarkshire Cecilian Orchestra (LCO), Lanarkshire's only amateur orchestra! Players will need to be a minimum of grade 5 however no audition necessary! We play light, popular and film music, through to symphonic works from all of the great composers. We work towards two performances a year: a festive Christmas concert and our annual concert in May which features a symphonic work among other pieces.
At the moment we're especially looking for those of you who play french horn, bassoon, viola, cello and violins - if you do and want to join us please do feel free to contact us on email at firstname.lastname@example.org in the first instance.
We rehearse every Thursday evening from September through to May and are based in St. Andrew’s Parish Church Hall, Church Street, Blantyre, G72 0NY, 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start to 9:15pm. We really hope you can join us!
Sorry, but we have no upcoming events for Lanarkshire Cecilian Orchestra. If you know of an event taking place at Lanarkshire Cecilian Orchestra or anywhere else in Lanarkshire tell us about it
and we'll list it on the website, for free!
