Flip Out Glasgow, the only inflatables and trampoline arena in Scotland, has teamed up with local taxi company Hampden Cars to provide free travel to the arena for local community groups, schools and charities.
The partnership will see Hampden Cars provide £1,000 worth of journeys every month to transport people to and from the Rutherglen-based arena, as part of Flip Out’s ongoing commitment to supporting the local community in Glasgow and its surrounding areas.
George Gallacher, General Manager at Flip Out Glasgow, said: “We’re very excited about this partnership with Hampden Cars. We’ve launched several initiatives with schools and charities across Central Scotland which have been well-received, but we sometimes get feedback from groups struggling to reach us.
“This partnership with Hampden Cars means we can allocate travel to those who need it, so no one has to miss out because of transport considerations.”
Martin McLellan, Assistant Manager at Hampden Cars added: “We were delighted to offer our services and support to Flip Out Glasgow on this initiative. We love working with the local community and a session at Flip Out is an experience that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy. Also, getting people where they need to be is what we do best - so it makes sense!”
At 63,000 sq. ft., Flip Out Glasgow is one of the biggest trampoline arenas in the world and Inflataflip recently added more excitement with Total Wipeout style giant bouncing balls, an airbag drop, a three-lane obstacle course, an inflatable drop slide and ball pools.
Tickets are priced at £11 and can be booked online at www.flipout.co.uk/glasgow.
Plans have been agreed for the redevelopment of the centre to create a near net zero health hub. This will include improved facilities for visitors and a reduction in carbon emissions by 90%.
