Surgeons' Hall Museums presents a series of bite sized lunch time talks for Spring 2024.
This talk will explore why Edinburgh became the place to study medicine in the 18th/ 19th centuries. We will explore the circumstances and some of the key figures that led to a relatively small city having such a huge influence on medical education and training in the UK and further afield.
The talk will last approximately 30mins and there will be tea and coffee available for ticket holders.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
