Badger Watch
May 11th, 25th & 29th / June 8th, 19th & 29th / July 3rd, 13th, 17th & 27th / August 10th
Meet at our visitor centre and join the ranger on a woodland walk to our secret badger sett, looking for tracks, trails and signs along the way! We will wait for emergence of the badgers at our specially constructed badger watching benches in the heart of the reserve, overlooking one of our well used setts. Enjoy the chance to view badgers, bats and other nocturnal creatures as well as the oportunity to connect with nature in the tranquil woodland.
This event is suitable for children aged 8 and above. Booking essential.
Cost - £15 per adult, £10 per child payable when booking.
Luxury Badger Watch
May 15th / June 15th / July 6th & 24th / August 3rd & 14th
Meet at our visitor centre and drive with the ranger in our 4x4 to within a 5 minute walk of our secret badger sett.We will wait for emergence of the badgers at our specially constructed badger watching benches in the heart of the reserve, overlooking one of our well used setts. Enjoy the chance to view badgers, bats and other nocturnal creatures as well as the oportunity to connect with nature in the tranquil woodland. Amature photography is permitted at this event under the ranger's supervision.
This event is suitable for children aged 8 and above. Booking essential.
Cost - £35 per ticket, payable when booking.
All donations help us to continue to bring an interesting and varied selection of events to our audience as well as supporting local wildlife causes. Please donate if you can.
Stout footwear is recommended, and please dress for the weather as this event will be fully outdoors.
