Have you ever looked up at the night sky and felt a sense of wonder and mystery? The stars, the moon, and the vast expanse of the cosmos are an endless source of fascination, and there's nothing quite like the experience of stargazing. If you share this passion, we have something exciting to share with you. We are thrilled to announce a spectacular stargazing event that will take place at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of New Lanark.
Join us on Scotland’s largest rooftop garden
Your journey will start in the theatre where you will be led through a mesmerising talk on the stories of the skies, before making your way to our café and gift shop where the Scottish Wildlife Trust will be on-hand to chat to you about local nocturnal animals while you grab a hot cup of tea or coffee with homemade cake (included in the price). At this point, you will make your way up to our stunning rooftop garden for the main event: stargazing! The location has been carefully chosen to provide an unobstructed view of the night sky, away from the city lights.
In Collaboration with the UNESCO Biosphere of Galloway and Southern Ayrshire and the Scottish Wildlife Trust
