One of the most eclectic festivals rural Scotland has to offer, the annual Biggar Little Festival offers an inspiring mix of of culture and fun for locals and visitors alike across 10 days in October.
With multiple live music, theatre, comedy and literary events, the festival invites nationally known performers and local and regional groups to participate in a range of venues throughout the town.
The Biggar Day Out is a popular family event with Food and Craft Fair, Children’s activities including the ever popular Story Trail, music in the street and Open Mic at the Corn Exchange. High Street shops have special opening times and many of their windows are filled with the schools’ Street Art exhibition.
The area around Biggar has long attracted artists, makers and crafts people.
The extensive Biggar Little Festival Art Trail offers an opportunity to discover their work whilst exploring their inspirational surroundings.
As part of Biggar Little Festival, Biggar Museum are delighted to host photographic exhibition, A Passion for Wildlife, by photographer Jean Manson.
