String Players will need to be a minimum of grade 4/5 with no audition necessary. Woodwind/brass players should contact us for more details of standard required as this will vary by vacancy. We play light, popular and film music, through to symphonic works from all of the great composers. We work towards three performances a year including a festive Christmas concert.
At the moment we're especially looking for those of you who play french horn, trombone and strings - if you do and want to join us please do feel free to contact us by email at lanarkshirececilianorchestra@gmail.com or through our Facebook page.
We rehearse every Thursday evening from September through to May and are based in St. Andrew’s Parish Church Hall, Church Street, Blantyre, G72 0NY, 7.15pm to 9.30pm. We really hope you can join us!
