Museum of Lead Mining, Wanlockhead Village is unique, being the only museum dedicated to lead mining in Scotland.
We do guided tours of our Lead mine, 3 period Cottages, in the Visitor Centre you can visit the Museum, Tearoom and Shop and we also have the Miners Library which is the 2nd oldest subscription library in Europe.
