Lego fever comes to M&Ds
Lego fans are in for a treat this weekend when Braw Brick, a charity LEGO model show, takes place at M&D's Scotland's Theme Park!

The spectacular weekend event runs on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th. Braw Brick is a fan run event that raises money for fairybricks.org, the official LEGO charity that donates LEGO to children in hospitals across the UK and Europe.
The event will feature innovative displayers from across Scotland who will showcase their latest spectacular builds including a big train display with moving trains, a large Star Wars Clone Wars base and Star Trek spaceships.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to create their own model displays with access to lots of LEGO bricks. There will also be a selection of LEGO merchandise available to browse and buy.
Jensen Taylor Connelly said: “Everybody has an appreciation of LEGO and this spectacular event will appeal to all ages. The displayers are so creative but we’re really looking forward to seeing what visitors can also make.”
The event will take place within the Alona Hotel at Scotland’s Theme Park and will run from 10am until 5.30pm on Saturday 19th August (last admission 4.30pm) and from 10.15am until 4.00pm on Sunday 20th August (last admission 3pm). A bookable quiet time is also available on Sunday 20th August from 9.30am for people who have issues with crowds and noise.
Tickets are priced at £4.00 for five year olds and over and four year olds and under go free with a paying adult. They are available from www.ticketsource.co.uk/brawbrick
Visitors can also enjoy all the Theme Park attractions including thrill rides and rides suitable for younger children, Amazonia, a temperature controlled tropical house and home to more than 60 different species, Devil’s Island Adventure Golf, Cosmic Bowl ten pin bowling, Krazy Congo Soft Play, and a Game Zone arcade area.
