Strathaven Reindeer Day
Come along to Strathaven on Sunday 7th December from 11am for the annual visit from Santa and his team of reindeer!
About Strathaven Reindeer Day
Held on the second Sunday in December, this popular event features a sleigh ridden by Santa himself and a lucky local child, pulled through the streets by a herd of reindeer. There is a funfair, stalls, food and music.
11am: Christmas Markets in the Common Green until 4pm
11am: Fun fair stalls and rides in the Allison Green & Common Green, open until 4pm
11.30am: See the Reindeer in the Allison Green
Midday: Santa Claus arrives in the Common Green on a horse and cart
12.30pm: Visit Santa in his grotto at Sorbie Hayes in the Common Green, open until 2.30pm*
12.30pm: Live Music and Fun in the Common Green
12.30pm: Pony rides in the Common Green top car park area until 4 pm*
3pm: Reindeer parade through the Common Green
Local Shops & Cafes Open
* A small entry fee applies for Santa's Grotto
** Fees apply for Pony Rides
