Join one of our talented volunteers from our Handy Person service on zoom as they teach you the skills to do a small repair on a household item. Or, our wonderful R:evolve Recycle volunteers will be on hand (virtually) to talk you through mending your fabrics and textiles. Enjoy one-on-one workshops where you can learn from the real experts at LEAP!
We will host our online Repair sessions each Thursday morning from 10.30am - 11.30am from the 18th of March through to 13th of May (1 weeks break on the 15th of April). Sign up to an appointment with our volunteers for a half an hour zoom meeting to learn the skills you'll need to repair your item.
Once you have reserved your space we will contact you to find out what item it is you are looking to repair and get some more information so that we can help you as best as we can.
This workshop is run by LEAP's Learning and Leisure project and the R:evolve Recycle project - helping to keep people connected and supported over lockdown. LEAP is a charity based in South Lanarkshire which aims to enhance the lives of older people.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
