About Close Encounters

The original artwork for the new information panels recently installed as part of an ongoing project in Lanark's Closes by Discover Lanark are being exhibited and will be available to purchase alongside Ronnie Cruwys's atmospheric paintings of the back of each of The Closes.

Kirsten and Ronnie will both be blogging about the exhibition over the next couple of weeks - so if you love Lanark, like a bit of history or want to learn more about how artists think we hope you enjoy our blogs.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Close Encounters are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment. All information (whether in text or photographs) is given in good faith but should not be relied upon as being a statement of representation or fact.
