About Creative Art Class for Teens at Tempo Community
Tempo Community brings you their Creative Art Class for Teens. This class is open to young people of all ability levels. The class is tutored by professional artist and tutor Rebecca Scott who has over ten years of experience as a community artist, tutor and secondary Art and Design teacher.
The class will offer students various art techniques and projects and they will be guided to develop their confidence and skill level. Students will have the opportunity to learn about various art techniques including drawing skills, painting, collage and pastels.
Numbers are limited to ensure that students receive adequate support from the tutor. All materials are provided. Students should wear old clothes if possible as some art materials can stain.
Tempo Community is an exciting new community centre in Rutherglen offering various classes including dance classes and art classes for teens and adults.
If your family are on a lower income and feel unable to afford the class, we also offer several free places per class, please contact Rebecca at rebecca.creativebanter@gmail.com to enquire about a free place.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Places are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and are secured once payment has been received. Bookings can only be made via Eventbrite and you will have secure access to book and pay online. Please be aware that we can get very messy so please dress you children appropriately! We do try as much as possible to use water based products. Tempo Community takes no responsibility for damage to clothing.
We do our best to accommodate all children however we reserve the right to exclude pupils from classes if their behaviour is unacceptably aggressive, disruptive, impolite or dangerous. Our decision on exclusions is final. Mobile phones and electronic devices are not encouraged, however if a child brings a phone or device into a workshop, Tempo Community takes no responsibility for any damage or loss incurred. It is your responsibility to ensure that we have correct current contact details for you and all adults authorised to pick up your child.
OUR REFUND POLICY: If you require to cancel your place at Tempo Community less than two weeks before the event, we are unable to refund your payment. If you cancel more than two weeks before the date of the booked class, you will be refunded in full minus a small administration fee. In the unlikely event that the organisers require to cancel an event, all participants will be refunded in full and you will always be notified as soon as possible. Sessions missed by Children will not be refunded. By booking, you agree to these terms.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
