Parents and teachers in Lanarkshire are invited to meet the Dyslexia Scotland local Branch at this event to help you understand more about dyslexia, and what support is available for you.
About Dyslexia In Lanarkshire - Meet Your Local Dyslexia Scotland Branch
Come along to let us know how things have been for you as a parent, carer or educator supporting children and young people with dyslexia and what you feel we could be doing to help locally. Children and young people with dyslexia also very welcome.
There will be contributions from Branch committee members, Parent Forum Scotland and educational professionals from South Lanarkshire Council.
Issues we'll be discussing will be
• Identification and assessment
• Key indicators of dyslexia
• What support is out there
• The role of Dyslexia Scotland Lanarkshire
