Callum Morton is an up-and-coming acoustic music instrumentalist with a drive to collaborate with some of Scotland’s finest Americana musicians. Drawing inspiration from his studies at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and at East Tennessee State University, he aims to delight with a evening of rousing self-penned melodies. Callum will be joined by Michael Wright and Joe Smee on guitar and bass respectively; each lending their rich and thoughtful accompaniment to lift the music to soaring heights.
Callum recently appeared on BBC Alba with folk-fusion group, The Auldeners and currently works with Glasgow Bluegrass outfit, The Fountaineers. After a summer of touring at Bluegrass and Americana festivals around the UK, Callum is determined to share some of that experience through his music. Callum’s debut single will be released this spring as the epoch to a full length album later this year.
