About Acoustic Cafe Nights @ The Granary Presents Aileen and Julia Reid (Kinnaris)
We are delighted to present the duo, and members of the fabulous Kinnaris Quintet, Julia and Aileen Reid. Two sisters who play 5 string fiddle and bouzouki who, during their musical career, have played with musical heroes and top class musicians, but who equally enjoy playing together to create a natural and instinctive and truly beautiful sound that can only be made through a close sisterly bond.
Although they have performed on every continent and have taken the road less travelled in every sense, it's back home amongst their Glasgow roots where they are most content playing to the world's best audiences - their exciting collection of trad music which will whisk you away in your imagination!
