Hamilton's annual Christmas Parade returns on Saturday 2nd December featuring Santa and his mischievous elves, an outdoor panto, Christmas market and a funfair for all the family!
About Hamilton Christmas Parade
This year, get ready to witness a magical sight as Santa Claus makes his grand entrance in Hamilton! And guess what? He's not coming alone! He's bringing his mischievous elves, who are all set to sprinkle the Christmas spirit throughout our annual parade! Join us for an unforgettable spectacle, where Santa himself will lead the way on foot, closely followed by his talented elves, who have been perfecting their mesmerizing fire performances all year long! The parade will kick off from the vibrant town square and make its way up Quarry Street, passing by the enchanting Christmas market. Immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere as you explore the market, brimming with delightful treats and unique treasures. Hamilton market will be open from 10am to 4pm on the day, so make sure to indulge in the joyous festivities!
For the first time ever, we're bringing you an outdoor panto that is completely free to attend. Get ready to be enchanted by Halo's Arts production of Cinderella, as they make a stop at our parade and perform on our stage at the top cross. It's a one-off show that promises to be a magical experience for all. But that's not all! Due to popular demand, Smith's Family Funfair will be making a grand return to Townhead Street. Brace yourself for a day filled with thrilling rides, delicious treats, and endless fun for the whole family.
