Participants will race 3D-printed ducks crafted by the skilled members of the Lanark Men's Shed. To ensure everyone has a chance to compete, the event is structured with two heats. Senior Heritage and Events Officer of the New Lanark World Heritage Site, Brittnee Leysen, shares, ‘We are thrilled to host the New Lanark Duck Race at our beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Site. This event not only brings the community together for a day of fun and excitement but also supports the incredible work of the Lanark Men's Shed, the Falls of Clyde Wildlife Reserve, and the New Lanark Trust. We look forward to welcoming participants and spectators alike to experience the joy and spirit of New Lanark while contributing to these wonderful local causes’. Be sure to sign up in advance to reserve your duck and avoid missing out on this opportunity to contribute to a good cause while enjoying some competitive fun at one of Scotland’s most historic sites.

Registration: Participants must register in advance to reserve a duck. Ducks are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Check-In: Arrive at least one hour before your race time to collect your duck and get ready. Bring a copy of your registration confirmation (digital or printed).
