About FREE RAER Whisky In-Store Tasting
The team at RAER began their pursuit of Single Malt Scotch Whisky perfection in 2020, laying down their first cask in February of that year. Their distillery is still growing and they're in the process of building our own on-site maltings facility. Whilst they give their casks time to mature, they've have launched a series of award-winning spirits.
Alongside their delicious Jackton Gin, Jackton Rosé Gin, Something Blue... Gin and their Jackton Vodka, they've developed three expertly crafted blended Scotch Whiskies.
The Original RAER Blended Scotch Whisky is a national and international award-winning dram that delivers satisfaction from the first sip. Expertly crafted with the finest seasonal malts and grains, this is a seriously smooth, easy-drinking dram.
For the RAER Pedro Ximenez Blended Expression, the team has sourced exquisite first fill Pedro Ximénez sherry casks from the Jerez region of Andalucía in Spain to bring you a mouth-watering sherry finish. Each cask is laid down for further maturation in bond at Jackton Distillery, to create these specialist whisky expressions.
The RAER Oloroso Blended Expression takes the spirit one step further. Having sourced exquisite first fill sherry casks from the Jerez region of Andalucía in Spain, RAER then decanted the national and international award winning RAER signature blend into a sweet, nutty, Oloroso Sherry cask to bring you this irresistibly tasty dram. With all the sweetness of PX, and a drier champagne like finish, this rich, full-bodied whisky will not disappoint.
All three blends have taken home numerous national and international awards, and they're a perfect introduction to the world of whisky for the uninitiated.
