Beautifully situated above the roaring river Calder, Crossbasket has been carefully and lovingly transformed and restored into one of Scotland most luxurious Castles. It is truly an iconic setting for a fabulous indoor Christmas market.

Outdoors trees and foliage with be brimming with Christmas Lights and decorations will abound. Once inside the Castle it will be toasty with a festively lit ballroom and library. It is there that we will be hosting a beautiful and enticing Christmas Market with artisan crafters whose creative talents combined with a passionate drive enable them to create the most delightful and exquisite gifts and wares to meet the most exacting of Christmas demands. Showcasing a wonderful collection of our hand produced Scottish Art, Craft, Food and Drink.

In the Ballroom you will find beautifully unusual stained glass and copper artwork, quirkily cute children’s attire, luxurious and decadent textiles, delicate jewellery designed using silver, gemstones and glass, the much sought after hand forged metal work, entrancing ceramics and exquisite glasswork. Hand turned pens to delight all and fine tweed and cashmere shawls for the winter evenings….. looking for usual and lovely stocking fillers – we have sublime candles, reed diffusers and wax melts, organic and vegan soap & skincare ranges too. Whatever catches your eye, choose wisely and spend it on something you love!

Throughout we will be presenting a wonderful and carefully chosen array of Food and Drink – Small batch craft distillers producing Rum, Gin, Vodka and Liquors to delight all, eclectic, unusual and totally delicious chutneys, gorgeous honeys and honey infused products, Rise and Grind with their speciality beans, all freshly roasted in their coffee roastery located in Paisley, cake artists, brownie bakers, and cookie makers that make up the team at mouth-watering Rabbit Hole cakes and not forgetting the ever popular Woodmill game with an incredible selection of hand produced pies, sausages, excellent ready meals and fine cuts of game.
