Diamonds in the Community are delighted to welcome W2, one the best U2 tribute bands, to Airdrie in June!
About U2 Tribute Night
Formed in 1998, it’s always been about the authenticity of sound for W2. If you hear it at a W2 show, it’s because you’d hear it at a U2 show. If it’s not authentic, it doesn’t make the cut.
Simple as that.
W2 specialise in a core cannon of classic U2 songs, including With or Without You, Where the Street Have No Name, and Pride (In the Name of Love).
They also deliver on fan favourites, with rarities like Gloria, Exit and One Tree Hill sprinkled throughout the set.
The venue is good, the beer is cheap, and it's right across from Airdrie Train Station which is on the Glasgow-Edinburgh line.
As always, all money raised on the night goes towards helping the vulnerable in our community through our Baby and Family Clothing Bank.
Tickets are £12, and available by emailing diamondsitc@hotmail.com, or in person at West End Bar (Alexander Street, Airdrie), BP Colston Garage (Carlisle Road, Airdrie), and Airdrie Workies (Broomknoll Street, Airdrie.)
Please note this gig will be in an upstairs venue with no lift. Over 14’s are allowed with an adult. Tickets are £12. It will be a standing gig although seating is available.
