In May 1975 Lamington was one of the first villages to be designated a conservation area and was subsequently granted “outstanding” status in recognition of its architecture and historic interest.
The exhibition explores the history surrounding Lamington from early times through the regeneration of the village until the death of the 3rd Lord Lamington in 1951 and up to the present day.
Lamington Heritage Exhibition has been funded by Clyde Windfarm and SSE Renewables
